As Islanders we find it one of the best places to eat on PEI. The food is excellent. As for shopping I always buy my gifts there. There is such varitety and I can always find a gift for even the hard to buy on my list.

My husband and I make a point to come to PEI Preserve Company every time we’re up on the Island from Massachusetts. Wonderful preserves, fruit salsas, and the mango habenero barbecue sauce is our favorite sauce “with a kick” for chicken. We always stock up when we’re there and have ordered on line and had it shipped several times. Can’t forget the wonderful homemade ice cream either. A visit has turned into a tradition for us.

We came during our Honeymoon last September, and we loved it. The food and atmosphere is amazing. We stayed in the area for only 4 days but we ate there for almost all of our meals, sometimes twice a day! We are making another trip this summer and we are eager to come in and relax by the river with some great food and tea.

This is a special place, not only a peaceful and restful place to visit during your visit to PEI but it is a place of beauty. The food and preserves are terrific, the ambiance is welcoming, like visiting a loving family. The Gardens are perfection! A walk through the Gardens is like a week at a spa. I strongly suggest a visit here if you are ever in the area and if you are not in the area then you should go out of your way to make it a special place to visit. You will be inspired and you will return again and again. (St Laurent, QC)
