Hi Brian,
I have to get our web admin person to set up some sort of alert system to allow me to know when an there has been a post; so sorry for the delay in responding.
Your comments are appreciated very much. One thing I do need to do is explain the difference between a jam, preserve and what we have. The government will not let me call my product jam or preserve. We do not use enough sugar to meet the requlations. We “Preserve” fruit but don’t use much sugar. Jam in Canada can have no more than 25% fruit and Preserve no more 45% fruit. We call our product “spreadable fruit” because we have anywhere between 66 to 88 percent fruit in the jar.
All the best to you and yours!
Sincerely,
Bruce
The bottom line is, jam is jam and your jam is just a little better than the best. What made it special to us was your personality and wonderful story in combination with your community involvment. We chose to buy two cases and have them shipped to Burnaby BC because of you. Don’t be afraid to market yourself through your product line. it is like a hug in a jar. Damn the cost.
Good Morning Shirley,
I am glad you enjoyed the “conversations”. We have had a lot of comments and requests for more. We hope to continue soon. On the ordering system; we are hopeful that it will be easier to understand with some of the new additions that we are waiting to be released over the next few days.
Have a wonde-full day!
Sincerely,
Bruce
Hi Bruce & Peter,
I was browsing the PEI Preserve Co. website this morning for the purpose of ordering a gift for my nephew and his wife, married last weekend in Georgia, and found your conversations.
I like your new approach to introducing who you are Bruce and your business, in that order! The conversation is interesting, informative, and enjoyable.
I didn’t continue with my order….had to pause to listen to you folks….and didn’t figure out the ordering system. Perhaps I prefer to order in person or by phone.
Thank you for the conversation while Allan and I enjoyed our morning coffee.
Shirley
